Volcanic Pumice Stone

Pumice was made by nature when lava with a very high content of water and gases was thrown out of a volcano. As the gas bubbles escaped from the lava, it become frothy. When the lava cooled and hardened, the result was a very light rock material filled with tiny bubbles of gas.

Volcanic pumice stone is hugely superior to any man made heel abrasive. Instead of one meager week or two, the natural volcanic pumice lasts easily months when kept dry between uses. Due to the balance of abrasiveness, softness and integrity of the natural volcanic material, natural pumice easily sloughs off rough dead skin cells from heels and soles of your feet keeping your feet eternally in shape for sexy high heels and flip flops alike.

Your heel is like a tomato: when you push on it from above, it expands and eventually the skin cracks. When your body weight pushes down, the normal fat pad under your heel wants to expand sideways and the pressure on the skin to crack is increased. Cracked heels are the result if the weight is excessive, and the skin is not supple. Volcanic pumice stone can be used to reduce the thickness of the hard skin, and with the combination of proper moisturizing (a few drops of argan oil at bedtime), make the skin more supple to prevent cracking.
